The Month of March in America
As we mentioned in our last report, we had the privilege to attend the workshop at the Southwest congregation in Austin, TX. We were able to see a lot of friends and make new ones. It was good to be able to meet Howard Zhang in person. He lives in north Austin. We meet up on-line in Taiwan when he speaks once a month. Of course, we also enjoyed being able to spend time with Jovita Saras Putri as well. She will be graduating in July.
The last two weeks in March, we drove to Tampa, Sebring, and Palatka, Florida to see family, brethren, and friends.
We began our 2,750 miles driving journey on March 15th. We arrived in Largo, FL on the 16th and began our visit with our youngest son, Samuel. On Sunday morning, we drove to Eagle Lake, FL. It was good to meet with the brethren there and to be able to speak during the Bible class and worship. That evening, we visited with the Central congregation in Clearwater. It was good to see Charles Broyles again.
On Wednesday, we went to Sebring, FL and I was able to do a report on our work to the congregation there. Thanks to Frank and Betty Parker for their hospitality. On Friday, we traveled to Palatka, FL to stay with Mike and Lydia Tubbs and speak at the College Rd. congregation on Sunday. On the Wednesday night before we left Florida, we were able to attend the congregation in St. Augustine and visit with Nadia LeMay and her husband and daughter.
We arrived back in Texas on March 30th. Thanks for all of your prayers during this trip. Check Facebook for pictures and events on this trip.

Beginning on April 11th, I will begin teaching again at the Four Seas College – Chinese Department. I will be teaching a course on “Church History.” This course covers material from the beginning of the church in the first century to the restoration movement.
We now have eight full-time Chinese students from China that are all located in Singapore, the site of the school. We also have a number of part-time students who attend the classes on-line.

Coming Up in May
On May 8th, we will once again head for Asia for mission trip #83. We will be in Indonesia until the end of May, then we will be heading to Melaka to speak at two or three congregations and also to speak and participate in the Annual Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship. We will speak in Melaka and Kuala Lumpur. More information on this and other future events in the coming months.
