March in Texas
Even though we are moved in, we still have a lot of things to put up and arrange in the apartment. We are thankful for the help of all of the brethren here in moving furniture, provided assistance in a number of ways, and even providing food for us. Our current plan is to return to Indonesia in early May as we will be preparing for our annual trip to Malaysia for the Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship which will be conducted June 5-7 in Melaka, Malaysia. We will also have the privilege to speak at one or two congregations while we are there. Please keep all of these travels in your prayers.
As you can see from my speaking schedule, I am still preaching every first Sunday of the month in Taiwan (although I attend their services every week). I also speak at the Section 17 church in Malaysia the second Sunday of every month. These services are all conducted in Chinese. I also attend another on-line class from Malaysia on Wednesdays conducted in English. I usually speak in this class once a month, but also serve as moderator for the question and answer session once or twice a month. Even though I am not currently teaching a class at Four Seas College – Chinese Department, I do attend the weekly chapels on Monday morning (Singapore time).

Gospel Meeting and Visit From Family
The church asked me to preach at their Spring gospel meeting. Our son, Samuel, also was able to come from Florida and visit with us for a few days around the time of this gospel meeting. Our daughter, Jojo, was also able to spend a weekend with us around that same time. We get to see Jojo quite often because she just lives about 45 minutes from here.
The gospel meeting was conducted March 16-19. I spoke a total of six times on the subject of “Growing in Christ.” These lessons are available on our Schertz website. We had pretty good attendance for the meeting with some visitors that attended this effort. We were thankful to be able to have a part in this gospel meeting.

We are thankful for all of your prayers and continued support as we strive to work among English and Chinese speaking people around the world. It is because of your support that we are able to continue our work among the Chinese people in Asia and other parts of the world.

We were not able to make it to the Memphis lectures, but were able to watch many of the lessons live on the internet. Please continue to pray for Eta and my health that we will be able to continue our travels between America and Asia.
Whether I am in America or Asia, I continue to prepare lessons on PowerPoint to use in the classes and worship services in which I participate. I recently completed three lessons on the Parables of Jesus. I am currently working on a four-part series on the subject of Miracles. I also continue to work on lessons in both English and Chinese.
