A Busy Month of September
At the beginning of September, my students took their mid-term test, which covered Peter and Jude. I have 16 students taking the course for credit, plus about 7 or 8 students who are taking the course for the information. This class continued to the end of September when the students took their final exam which included the Epistles of John.
On October 5th, I will begin teaching a new course at Four Seas College Chinese Department on the subject of mission work. This class will continue until the first of December. This is a two hour a day, three days a week class.
I continue to have a part in Bible classes in Taichung and Schertz. These classes are both on Tuesday. Once a month I speak at the Bible class on-line at the Subang Jaya church in Malaysia. (See my speaking schedule to see all of the places I will be speaking in the coming weeks.

Back To Malaysia
In recent weeks it had been determined that Eta needed to have surgery. So, after seeing an ob-gyn oncologist, it was decided she would have surgery on Sept. 23rd. So, we came back from Sumatra on Sept. 19th to worship with brethren on Sunday, then to admit Eta to the hospital on Sept. 22nd for further tests. On Sept. 23rd, she had the needed surgery, which was successful, and was released from the hospital on Sept. 26th. She will see her doctor on Oct. 2nd, with plans to return to Sumatra on Oct. 7th. We are thankful that Jojo was able to go with us to Malaysia to help with Eta. She was a tremendous help.
We had originally planned to return to the states on Sept. 29th, but those plans had to be changed. On Oct. 13th, I will travel by myself back to the states for about a month. Eta also will not make the planned trip to Taiwan in late November. I will make that trip and return to Sumatra on Dec. 8th. In late December, we will have guests from the United States until the end of the year. We will then plan to travel to the USA around the 7th of January for a few months. Please continue to pray for us in all of these upcoming medical decisions and trips.

We continue to be thankful for all of your prayers and support as we strive to work among English and Chinese speaking people around the world.
Please continue to pray for all of the preachers around the world working in the Lord’s vineyard. Also, please pray for all of all brethren in the world striving to serve our Lord.
It is because of your support that we are able to continue our work among the Chinese people in Asia and other parts of the world. We could not do it without you.
