Malaysian Mission Trip
As part of our 87th overseas mission trip, on May 28th, we departed for Malaysia for preaching and teaching in English and Chinese in three congregations, as well as the 18th Annual Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship.
The first weekend there, I spoke to the Friday night English Bible study at the Subang Jaya congregation. On Sunday, I presented two English lessons in the morning and two Chinese lessons in the afternoon. It was good to be back with the congregation in person again. I meet with them and others weekly on Wednesday night in a zoom English Bible class.
The annual Chinese Bible lectureship was conducted in Melaka, Malaysia from June 4-6, 2026. I was one of about fourteen speakers on this program. We had more than 150 Chinese speaking brethren from Malaysia, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Australia, Philippines, and the United States.
The lectureship concluded on Saturday afternoon, after which we headed back to the Kuala Lumpur area to speak at English Sunday morning services for the Kota Kemuning congregation, and Sunday evening for the Chinese Section 17 congregation.
It was good to be with the Kota Kemuning congregation again. They have two elders and Willy Ling serves as the preacher for the congregation.
One very big thing we are working on during this trip is renewing Eta’s tourist visa for the USA. Please pray she will not have any trouble getting it renewed. We will start that process after returning from Malaysia. We will also be looking into getting her personal resident status as soon as possible.

I am thankful I am able to preach in Taiwan and Malaysia each month via the internet. We are thankful for the church in Taichung and Section 17 for scheduling me for these sessions. I also speak regularly in the online English Bible class held each week and conducted by the Subang Jaya congregation. Even though I am not teaching this quarter, I still am involved with the weekly chapel we have on-line at Four Seas College – Chinese Dept.

We celebrated three birthdays during the month of June. Eta, Jovita, and I all had birthdays during this month. Also, Jessica and Krishna celebrated their fourth anniversary during the month of June.

We continue to be thankful for all of your prayers and support as we strive to work among English and Chinese speaking people around the world. Please continue to pray for all of the preachers around the world working in the Lord’s vineyard. Also, please pray for all of all brethren in the world striving to serve our Lord.
It is because of your support that we are able to continue our work among the Chinese people in Asia and other parts of the world. We could not do it without you.
