Events in July

We spent the month of July in Indonesia recovering from a variety of illnesses. There were visits to a variety of doctors, clinics, and labs. I am happy to report as we begin the month of August, we are doing much better with our health.

One of the main changes for August will be starting to teach again at Four Seas College – Chinese Dept. through our online school.

During the month of July, I continued my online teaching and preaching in both English and Chinese. I also had the opportunity and privilege to speak online to the Church St. church in Melbourne, Australia. Thanks to the church there for the invitation to speak. Charlie and Mary DiPalma have been working with this congregation for well over a decade, and continue that work. We are thankful for their efforts through the decades in proclaiming the gospel of Christ.

On Sundays, I speak or participate in the Bible class and worship at the Taichung congregation in Taiwan. I speak the first Sunday of every month. In the evening, I participate in the worship services of the Section 17 Chinese congregation, and preach the second Sunday of every month. The last thing I do on Sunday is to tune in to the Schertz congregation Bible class.

On Monday morning, I attend and sometimes take part in the weekly online chapel at Four Seas College – Chinese Dept. This month I will begin teaching MWF morning classes in Chinese.

On Tuesday night at 10:00 PM, I join the Schertz morning Bible class through a zoom hookup.

On Wednesday night, I participate in the weekly English zoom class that began about five years ago through the efforts of the Subang Jaya congregation. I speak at least once a month in this class.

On Thursday morning, I join the Schertz Wed. night Bible class their zoom hookup.

During the week, I work on moving Word document lessons to PowerPoint. I use these materials for all of my lesson presentations.

We are scheduled to return to the states on Sept. 5th. We will be in the states almost two months.

We continue to be thankful for all of your prayers and support as we strive to work among English and Chinese speaking people around the world. It is because of your support that we are able to continue our work among the Chinese people in Asia and other parts of the world. We could not do it without you.
