Staying Busy in February
During the month of February, we had the opportunity to visit with the College Rd. church in Palatka, FL. They have been supporting our work for a number of years. During the Bible class, I gave a report of our recent mission trip to Taiwan and preached for the morning worship. We also stayed with our friends and long-time supporters, Mike and Lydia Tubbs. We have known them since the 1980’s. Once again, we were thankful for their hospitality while we were there.
Our son, Sam, was able to drive up from Tampa for a day. We do not get to see him very often. He worships with the Central church in Clearwater, FL. I will be holding a meeting there in April. We will look forward to seeing him again then.
I am thankful I am able to preach in Taiwan and Malaysia each month via the internet. We are thankful for the church in Taichung and Section 17 for scheduling be for these sessions.
At the end of February, we had the opportunity to attend two days of the workshop at Southwest in Austin, TX. In addition to hearing many good lessons, we had the opportunity to visit with many brethren. So many brethren asked us how Jojo was doing. (Jojo, our daughter, attended the school at Southwest.)
Please continue to pray for all of our efforts among the Chinese people in Southeast Asia.
We are thankful to be able to be helpful at the Schertz church. I teach in the Wednesday night rotation and have the opportunity to lead singing on occasion. The congregation here is also very good to us.
