August Activities
As part of our 87th overseas mission trip, we continue to stay busy in the Chinese work via the internet.
Beginning in August, I started teaching again at Four Seas – Chinese via zoom. The topic is 1 Peter – Jude. We have one new student from China joining the school this month and a total of 19 students attending this class. We made a trip to Jakarta in August and I had the opportunity to speak twice in English to one of the congregations there. In recent weeks, I have been joining the on-line zoom Bible class in Taichung, Taiwan on Tuesday mornings. Brother John Yo leads the discussion in this class.
There is a chance that I will be returning home at the end of this month by myself, as Eta may need to undergo a procedure that would make it difficult to travel the long distance to and from the states. Please pray for her in these upcoming medical decisions.

Quick Trip To Malaysia
We are currently in Malaysia for a total of eight days where I have been speaking in English and twice presenting English/Chinese lessons – all at Subang Jaya. One of the lessons was delivered at an Evangelism Seminar on the last day of August. Roger Campbell was also speaking on this program. Roger will be in Malaysia for about a month. My topic for the seminar was: “Who Qualifies to Be Called a Christian.”
Eta took advantage of this opportunity to check with her doctors and get her medications, as well as to have some check-ups. She also met with the ladies’ class held at Subang Jaya most every Thursday.

I am thankful I am able to preach in Taiwan and Malaysia each month via the internet. We are thankful for the church in Taichung and Section 17 for scheduling me for these sessions. I also speak regularly in the online English Bible class held each week and conducted by the Subang Jaya congregation.

We continue to be thankful for all of your prayers and support as we strive to work among English and Chinese speaking people around the world.
Please continue to pray for all of the preachers around the world working in the Lord’s vineyard. Also, please pray for all of all brethren in the world striving to serve our Lord.
It is because of your support that we are able to continue our work among the Chinese people in Asia and other parts of the world. We could not do it without you.

Family News
We have happy news about two of our daughters. In April of 2027, Krishna and Jessica are expecting their first child. It will also be Eta’s first grandchild. Also, sometime next year, Jovita (Jojo) is going to be married to Charlie Cauley. The date is pending. We are thankful about this good news in our family. Please remember them in prayer.
