October in Transition
Even though we were starting to get ready to head back to Indonesia, we continued with our regular activities which included being involved with all of the activities of the Schertz church. I continue to do my on-line Chinese and English classes in Taiwan and Malaysia.
I am currently preparing the material for my next class at Four Seas College – Chinese Department. The class is on the topic of Exodus and Leviticus. This course will go from December 1st through January 19th. We also have a weekly on-line chapel that meets every Monday morning.
While I am in the USA, I keep my appointments with my dermatologist and heart doctor. Once again, I had some pre-cancers removed from my head and arms. I am now taking a bit more medicine for my blood pressure as well.
On my next trip, I will also have my annual regular check-up. I do my dental work in Indonesia.
Our trip back to Indonesia was long and tiring, but we made it back safely. Thanks for your prayers for our good health and our safety as we travel between the US and Asia.

We thank you in advance for all of your help in our efforts. We continue to put our trust in God in all things. Please continue to pray for our work for the Lord. We are so thankful for all of our supporters who continue to make it possible for us to work among Chinese and English-speaking people in Asia.
Every year, during the last couple of months of the year, we remind brethren of our on-going need of additional support. Through the years, we have lost support for one reason or another. That is true this year as well. Therefore, we are always looking for other brethren to have a part in our efforts.
We continue to thank the elders of the Schertz congregation for their continued support of this work.
Send all contributions, whether one-time or monthly, to: Grubb Mission Fund, 501 Schertz Parkway, Schertz, TX 78154.

Taiwan in Nov./Dec.
We are still planning to visit Taiwan to attend and participate in the lectureship in Taichung and to visit and teach for the congregation in Hualien during the months of November and December. We are hoping that Eta will not have any trouble obtaining her visa for this trip. She has submitted her paperwork for the visa. We will purchase the tickets for this trip after Eta secures her visa. This will be a roundtrip ticket from Lampung to Taipei. In Taiwan, we will travel from city to city by train. Taiwan has a very good train system now. If she gets her visa, we will visit Taichung, Hualien, and Taipei.
This is our 82nd short-term mission trip since 1985. We are looking forward to seeing the brethren in Taiwan, face to face, for the first time since 2019.
