Last Full Month in the USA until July
During the month of April, I continued with my regular teaching schedule for lessons in English and Chinese in Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
As mentioned below, I also begin teaching a Chinese class in Church History at Four Seas College – Chinese Department.
During the month of April, Caleb Rutherford conducted a gospel meeting in Schertz, TX. We were privileged to be able to be in Texas and attend this meeting.

Gospel Meeting in Groveport, OH
From April 28-May 1st, Eta and I were in Groveport, Ohio so that I could conduct a gospel meeting there. Groveport has supported our work for a number of years and I have spoken there to give reports and preach in the past, but this was the first gospel meeting I conducted there. It was a privilege to be with David Stevens and the brethren there. We also visited with long-time friend, Imogene Hann, who now lives in an assisted living home. Imogene was my mom and dad’s lifelong friend. They all grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana. We had good attendance for the meeting and also enjoyed the hospitality of the brethren there. There were a number of visitors who attended, and there are on-going Bible studies taking place there.
Before the gospel meeting, we were able to travel to Terre Haute to visit with my brother and first cousins who traveled down from the Chicago area. It was a very enjoyable visit. On the way back to Groveport, we had the opportunity to eat lunch with Ben and Lois Vick in Indianapolis.
We return to Texas on May 3rd, and will prepare for our next trip to Asia.

Beginning on April 11th, I began teaching again at the Four Seas College – Chinese Department. I am teaching a course on “Church History.” This course covers material from the beginning of the church in the first century to the restoration movement.
We now have six full-time Chinese students from China that are all located in Singapore, the site of the school. We also have a number of part-time students who attend the classes on-line.

Coming Up in May
On May 8th, we will once again head for Asia for mission trip #83. We will be in Indonesia until the end of May, then we will be heading to Malaysia to speak at two or three congregations and also to speak and participate in the Annual Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship. We will speak in Melaka and Kuala Lumpur.
