2015 Malaysia Trip
I am scheduled to
depart for Malaysia on May 19th. This will be my 56th mission trip since 1985. I
will actually be flying into and out of Singapore, as is my habit. I do that
because of the lower cost and shorter travel time. I will be taking a bus to and
from the Klang valley.
Before traveling to
Malaysia, I spent a week to go up to Indiana to visit family. I stayed with my
mother while I was there. While in Indiana, I visited with the brethren in Clay
City and the Northside congregation in Terre Haute. On the last Wednesday night
in April, I traveled to Bridgeport, Alabama. I did a presentation for the
congregation there. Long-time friend, John O’Neal is the preacher there. Also
members there are Danny and Betty Rader. They are the parents of Jeana
O’Donnell, who lives in Foxton, New Zealand. I met the Raders when I was there
in March. Danny asked me to come and talk about my work in Bridgeport. I was
happy to do so.
The first week in
May, I attended Focal Point, which is a work of the University Church of Christ
in San Marcos, TX. Because this report is being printed before the event, I will
have more to say about it in my June report.

(A NOTE FOR MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIST) Help Send Lee Davis to Singapore!
(A NOTE FOR MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIST) Help Send Lee Davis to Singapore!
Dear brethren,
I pray that this note finds you and your families doing well and your work for the Lord prospering! As some of you might know, I resigned from my local work of 10 years and am going back into full time missions. I am returning to Singapore to teach at Four Seas College. Lord willing, September will be the go date! If the Lord wills, we will be staying in Singapore full time. I am very much in need of monthly support but any help will be of great significance. Let's be workers together in the Cause of Christ in Southeast Asia! Be praying for us! Please make the checks out to:

News and Letters from Around the World
News and Letters from Around the World
QUITMAN, MS: “God bless you in
your work throughout the world brother. So glad that New Zealand had the
opportunity to get you. Wish I could have been there. You just witnessed a small
taste of the hospitality of the brethren in NZ. They are one-of-a-kind.
Hopefully, next time I'll be there as well doing some work and we can work
together for a couple of days. You are in my prayers for travel and in your
efforts” – Stephen Higley. (NOTE: We are thankful for the work Stephen
and Hannah are doing in the kingdom. JMG.)
PRAYERS: We know of so many we
need to remember in prayer each day. We remember those who are sick, in the
hospital, shut-ins, receiving treatments, etc. There are families who are
grieving over lost love ones or suffering because of problems or pressures in
life. The recent disaster in Nepal and surrounding countries also elicit our
prayers and help for those individuals. We continue to pray for our brethren
around the world who are striving to proclaim the gospel of Christ in their
respective countries. We pray for family, for governments, for leadership in the
church, for the members of the church, for more workers in the kingdom, and the
lost around the world. We are thankful for the use of social media to help us
know of those who are in need of prayers. Let us all continue to pray to our
Father in heaven who “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask
or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians
3:20).
