Even though we have received some new support in 2020,
we have lost $500 a month more than we have gained (so far) in our support.
During this new year, I will be seeking new sources of help to enable our work
to continue. Thanks for your assistance and your prayers.
The Corona Virus has been a real problem for everyone.
It has also affected congregations around the world. Let’s continue to pray for
the quick solution to this problem.

2020 Indonesia Mission Trip – Continued
In our last report, we left off telling about
our trip to Batam. The day after we finished the efforts with the church there,
we took a one day trip to Singapore so that I could renew my Indonesia tourist
visa. It is only good for thirty days, so I had to leave the country to get it
renewed until I headed back to the states.
After returning to Lampung, I had the
opportunity to teach the first few chapters of the gospel according to John.
These classes were conducted at the Southern Sumatra Bible Academy. I was also
given the privilege to teach the Thursday night Bible class, the Sunday morning
Bible class, and speak at the worship on Sunday morning.
I learned the first week in March that my
flight to South Korea had been cancelled. I had to book a flight on another
airline to make my connection with Delta Airlines. Thanks to Delta Airlines –
Jakarta office for helping me to get this fixed.
The last weekend I was in Indonesia, my
family, Jon Robelemba, another member, and I went to Palembang for teaching and
encouragement. We spent four sessions with the brethren at the Talang Betutu
congregation.
Things change day by day. I have already
learned that I will have to push back the time of my next trip to Indonesia
because the government is closing the borders until April 20th. So, currently,
I will plan to delay my return to Indonesia until April 21st. That is one week
later than the current plan. Of course, this may change as well, depending on
the events taking place in our world.
My trip back to the states went well. It was
amazing to see the empty airports. When I went through transit security in
Seoul, I was the only passenger in there. As I send out this report, I am
completing a two-week self-quarantine. I was thankful to be able to make it back to the house and not have to spend two weeks in limbo.
I was not the only one who was kept in the
house. The whole country was placed in a type of quarantine as a result of the
virus.
Because of the lockdown of not only the United
States but also Indonesia, my return to Indonesia has been delayed until at
least early May.

We will be watching the news from both Indonesia and
Malaysia to see when they open back up to foreigners. It is possible that
Malaysia will open up first. If so, then my wife and I will make plans to meet
there and then to be of any help we can in the evangelism and edification of
