Activities During the Month of September

I continue to have part in Bible classes and worship services in Taiwan, China, and Malaysia. I also tune in to services in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, and the United States. During the month of September, I spoke twice via internet platform to the brethren in Shanghai. I will probably be speaking in HangJou in the future as well.

On August 8th, I spoke to the Chinese worship service at Section 17. I speak on the second Sunday of every month for that congregation. I am speaking the first Sunday of every month at the Taichung Chinese. congregation

On August 11th, in addition to starting my classes in the Chinese Department of Four Seas College, I spoke at the Wed. night class at Subang Jaya in Malaysia. This is an English class with questions and answers following. Currently, all of these sessions in which I am involved are online.

I spoke to the bi-lingual worship service and Bible study at Subang Jaya in Malaysia on Aug. 29th.

My Wife’s Visa – Approved!

On September 10th, my wife’s visa application was finally approved. She has received a five-year tourist visa. By the time you read this, we will both be in the states, ready to visit some of our brethren and family. Thanks for your prayers on our behalf. Yes! We made it! We are in the states!

It is going to be costly for the flights and the traveling. If any of our brethren are able to defray these costs, we will greatly appreciate it. All contributions can be sent to: Grubb Mission Fund, P.O. Box 7450, Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502.

Four Seas College Chinese Department

Every Monday morning, we have a chapel service with songs, prayers, and a devotional lesson delivered by one of the students. The teachers then critique the lesson.

I have finished teaching First Corinthians to the students, which started on August 11th. All of the lessons were in Mandarin Chinese, except my PowerPoint notes, which were in both English and Chinese. This course ended the last week in September.

Please pray for these efforts that are being made to prepare Chinese speaking students to prepare to preach the gospel in their own language.

My wife and I express thanks for all of our financial supporters who enable me to have a part in this effort among the Chinese people. We have lost quite a bit of financial support over the last year (as have many missionaries), and we are, therefore, in need of new support from congregations or individuals to keep our work going.

May the Lord continue to bless these efforts to try to help spread the gospel among the Chinese-speaking people.
