March in the USA
The month of March was the last month for us to be in the states before going back to Indonesia. In addition to all of my regular classes, I had a lot of medical procedures done. I had a check-up at the doctor’s office, as well as a check-up on my heart, and a colonoscopy. All of the results were good.
We started out the month attending the workshop at the Southwest congregation in August. We were able to spend time with Jojo as well as meeting lots of old friends and hearing some good lessons.
While we were with the Schertz congregation, I filled in at any spot requested, whether song leading, prayer, officiating at the Lord’s Supper, etc. Eta participated in both the Monday night Zoom ladies’ class and the Tuesday morning ladies’ class at the church building.
The preacher at Schertz, Stan Crowley, is retiring from full-time preaching at the end of April. So, during the month of March, the church was looking for a new preacher. At the first of April, the church selected Justin Guess. He will begin his work with the church at the end of April.

FSC Chinese Class
My next class beginning on April 13th will be on the subject of “Leadership in the Church” in Four Seas College – Chinese Dept. I am currently working on the PowerPoint slides for the upcoming class. I finished the manuscript and the PowerPoint for the Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship to be conducted in June.
Again, I am thankful for the opportunity to teach Chinese students from China, Singapore, and Malaysia in the Chinese department of Four Seas College.
We are looking forward to the many teaching opportunities we will have in this year, both in English and Chinese. I began a class with some brethren and friends in another location in China via Zoom.
We thank you in advance for all of your help in our efforts. We continue to put our trust in God in all things. Please continue to pray for our work for the Lord.

Returning to Indonesia
On March 30th, we boarded an American Airlines flight to Dallas to connect to our Qatar Airways flights through Doha to Jakarta. This was the first time we have ever used this airline to travel overseas. Normally, we use Delta airlines and their partners, but we waited too late to book for a good price.
The Qatar Airways was fine. We are thankful we were able to arrive safely after a three-day trip. Thanks for your prayers.
