July – Back in America
On July 4th, we began our trip back to the United States. It was a long forty-eight hour trip from Sumatra, through Jakarta, Qatar, and Dallas. We finally arrived safely in San Antonio on the 5th.
For the next many days, we would work on getting settled in to our stateside apartment while continuing with our regular schedule as well as a trip to Florida and Georgia. Since Jojo was out of school for about five weeks, we decided to take her with us on our trip to Florida and Georgia.
Before leaving on this trip, we had the opportunity to attend the banquet and the graduation of the Southwest School of Bible Studies. We also had our men’s breakfast at Schertz.
While we were in Florida, we enjoyed the hospitality of Mike and Lydia Tubbs and had the opportunity to speak and report at College Road Church of Christ in Palatka, Florida. We were also able to take Jojo to see the Atlantic Ocean and also St. Augustine, Florida, as well as a boat ride on the St. John’s River.
After leaving Florida, we headed to Richmond Hill, Georgia, where I would give a report to the congregation there of our work. While we were in the area, we were able to enjoy the city of Savannah.
We then headed back to Texas to continue our work in the Schertz area. We are thankful to be able to do what we can to help in the work at Schertz while we are stateside. We also try to participate in efforts that take place in the area.

FSC Chinese Class
My next class will begin on August 10th on the subject of “The Life of a Preacher” in Four Seas College – Chinese Dept. ending late September. These classes are conducted on-line Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of every week. All of these classes will be conducted while I am in the states.
Again, I am thankful for the opportunity to teach Chinese students from China, Singapore, and Malaysia in the Chinese Department of Four Seas College.
We thank you in advance for all of your help in our efforts. We continue to put our trust in God in all things. Please continue to pray for our work for the Lord.

Taiwan in December
Eta and I will return to Indonesia on October 17th. We have already purchased these tickets. In the very near future, we will go ahead and purchase the tickets from Indonesia to Taiwan sometime in October. More about this trip later.
