Heading Back to the USA on January 3rd
By the time most of you read this, Eta and I will have already returned to the states for a couple of months. We will be in Texas for the month of January. We may be doing some traveling during the month of February, weather permitting. Sometime during the month in the latter part of March we will be heading back to Indonesia. Please pray for all of our safe travels, both during the time we are in the states and when we are overseas.
The next time we are back in Asia, we will be, once again, visiting Malaysia for the Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship and other places to speak.
Four Seas College Chinese Class Continues
I just recently finished teaching the Epistles of Peter, John, and Jude. Now, I am beginning to teach a Chinese course on “The Preacher and His Work – Mission Work.” This class will continue until Chinese New Year (around Jan. 20, 2023). I will start this class in Asia but will finish it while we are back in the states.
Again, I am thankful for the opportunity to teach Chinese students in the Chinese department of Four Seas College. I will have eleven full-time students and a number of part-time students as well.
A New Year!
We have a number of brethren who contribute to our work on a monthly basis and some who give occasionally. There are also a number of brethren who make a contribution at the end of the year or at the beginning of the new year. We will probably be spending more of this new year in Asia. One of the reasons for this is because the increased cost of living in the United States. It is cheaper to live in Indonesia than in the USA. Another reason is: we no longer own a house in the United States and will pay rent whenever we are stateside. Eta has her house in Indonesia, so it makes it convenient to spend more time there.
We are looking forward to the many teaching opportunities we will have in the new year, both in English and Chinese.
We thank you in advance for all of your help in our efforts. We continue to put our trust in God in all things. Please continue to pray for our work for the Lord.
