June in Asia
The month of June saw the completion of our trip to Malaysia, returning to Indonesia, and now getting ready to head back to the United States next month. As usual, I continued all of my on-line sessions in English and Chinese during the month.

FSC Chinese Class
My next class will begin on August 10th on the subject of “The Life of a Preacher” in Four Seas College – Chinese Dept. ending in late September. These classes are conducted on-line Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of every week. All of these classes will be conducted while I am in the states.
Again, I am thankful for the opportunity to teach Chinese students from China, Singapore, and Malaysia in the Chinese Department of Four Seas College.
We thank you in advance for all of your help in our efforts. We continue to put our trust in God in all things. Please continue to pray for our work for the Lord.

The Rest of Our Trip in Malaysia
On June 2nd, I gave my final test at Four Seas College Chinese Dept. and that night spoke in English at Subang Jaya congregation. Saturday, June 3rd, was Eta’s birthday, so I took her for a birthday lunch that day and then we had dinner with Ron and Audrey Ying that night. On Sunday morning, June 4th, I spoke to the Subang Jaya English congregation both for worship and Bible study in the morning, had lunch with the Yeow’s, then spoke twice to the Chinese congregation at Subang Jaya. That evening, we met with the Chinese church at Section 17. The day was finished off by tuning in to the Schertz Bible study on their Sunday morning.
On Tuesday and Wednesday night of the week, we attended Chinese and English on-line classes as we normally day.
That brought us to the time for the 15th Annual Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship, which was conducted near Genting Highlands in Malaysia. There were between 150-200 brethren to attend this effort from Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, the United States and China. We also had some non-members attend, and two of them obeyed the gospel during the weekend. I had the privilege to be the first speaker on the program and also was on one of the Q&A panels. We also had the first graduation exercise for Four Seas College Chinese Department at the lectures. Six brethren graduated this year.
Because of covid, this was the first time we were able to have this event in three years. It was great to be with all of these brethren again. Next year, the 16th Annual Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship will be conducted in Malacca, Malaysia, June 6-8, 2024.
On June 11th, I had the privilege to speak at the English service of the Klang church in the greater Kuala Lumpur area. It was great to be with brethren from that congregation again.
On June 13th, Eta and I flew back to Indonesia to continue our work until our scheduled flight back to the United arriving in Texas on July 5th. We solicit your prayers.
