Preparing to Return to Asia – Indonesia
By the time you read this report, Eta and I are back in Asia. We arrived safely in Jakarta on Wednesday, local time. This is my 80th short-term mission trip. We will be in Asia until after the first of the year. Jojo is settling in to her schooling at SWSBS and doing well.
It has been an eventful month. We thought we were going to close on the house on September 13th. That date was pushed back to September 26th. Then, it was rescheduled for October 23rd. Finally, the sale was cancelled. We are now starting all over again. We continue to solicit your prayers for this sale.
We made the planned move to Schertz. We arrived on September 16th. Most of our goods are in a storage facility. Because of our situation, the best solution, right now, is to rent a short-term furnished apartment for the time we are in Texas. We will re-evaluate this at a future date.
Before leaving for Asia, I had the privilege to conduct a gospel meeting at Schertz as well. I am thankful to the elders for affording me this opportunity. We did not really have a lot of time to get to know the brethren here at Schertz, but we will look forward to seeing them again in January.
Please continue to pray for all of our efforts in the Kingdom.

Teaching On-Line at Four Seas College – Chinese
in Singapore
I have just completed a course on the Epistles of Peter, John, and Jude. The final test for this class was on September 30th. All of these classes are in Chinese.
In the future, I will be teaching on “The Preacher and his work – Missions.” This will be from November 30th or Dec. 1st until Jan. 20th.
