February Stateside
The month of February was spent in the United States. We arrived in Texas at the end of the month of January. We were happy to be back with the brethren at Schertz to worship with them and have a part in the local work there.
I had the opportunity to make a presentation of our latest trip to Taiwan, where we attended and spoke on the Taichung lectureship, as well as speaking for the church in Hualien and Taipei. It was good to be with the brethren there for the first time since covid. We are looking forward to our trip there again in December 2024.
Whether in Asia or America, I continue to participate in English and Chinese services in Taiwan and Malaysia every week. I speak every month in these countries, both in English and Chinese. Normally, the first Sunday in the month, I speak at the Taichung congregation in Chinese. I also speak in Malaysia in Chinese on the second Sunday of every month. I speak monthly in the English Bible study with the Subang Jaya congregation in Malaysia. I attend the weekly Chinese Bible class in Malaysia as well.
Beginning on April 11th, I will begin teaching again at the Four Seas College – Chinese Department. I will be teaching a course on “Church History.” This course covers from the beginning of the church to the restoration movement.
We now have eight full-time Chinese students from China that are all located in Singapore, the site of the school. We also have a number of part-time students who attend the classes on-line.

Coming Up in March
The first two days in March, we will be attending “Arise” at the Southwest congregation in Austin. This is where our daughter, Jovita, is attending the Southwest School of Bible Studies.
The last two weeks in March, we will be in Florida speaking at a couple of congregations and visiting friends and family.
