April in Asia
The month of April has been a very busy one here in Indonesia. I continue all of my on-line sessions in English and Chinese, but now have added in person Indonesian Bible study and worship on Sunday. My son-in-law is able to translate for me, so I am trying to assist the congregation by doing some of the teaching in their Sunday Bible study and worship.
In addition, after many trips to the local immigration office, I was able to renew my visa for another year. After I get my new passport in 2025, I will apply for a five-year visa, so that we do not have to do it every year.
On May 1st, I had the privilege to join the evangelism seminar conducted by the Subang Jaya congregation. Close to 100 joined the zoom seminar to listen to three speakers talk about work in Africa, East Malaysia, and Indonesia.

FSC Chinese Class
My current class began on April 13th on the subject of “Leadership in the Church” in Four Seas College – Chinese Dept. This will continue until the first of June.
Again, I am thankful for the opportunity to teach Chinese students from China, Singapore, and Malaysia in the Chinese department of Four Seas College.
We thank you in advance for all of your help in our efforts. We continue to put our trust in God in all things. Please continue to pray for our work for the Lord.

Planned Trip to Malaysia
We have booked our tickets for our upcoming trip to Malaysia. We will depart Indonesia on May 18th and return on June 13th. While there, I will speak at the Kota Kemuning, Section 17, Subang Jaya, and Klang congregations. I will speak at the Section 17 and Subang Jaya Chinese worship services as well. While we are there, I will still be teaching my Four Seas College Chinese class until the first of June. We are looking forward to seeing brethren from Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and China face to face. We solicit your prayers during this trip.
The Chinese Asian Bible Lectureship will also be conducted in Malaysia, June 8-10. We are looking forward to meeting brethren from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and the United States for this effort.
My son, Samuel, will be in Malaysia for a few days after we arrive. We are looking forward to spending time with him as well before he heads back to the states.
